This product is refined using high quality mineral base oils and a variety of selected high performance additives.
Performance characteristics
- Good acid neutralising properties, effectively neutralising acids from the combustion of poor quality fuels and preventing corrosion of engine components
- good anti-wear properties, reducing frictional wear of piston and cylinder liners and extending the service life of engine components
- good cleaning and dispersing properties to prevent carbon build-up in piston ring grooves and cylinder liner ports and to ensure clean engine combustion chambers
- Good dispersion properties, so that the oil quickly reaches the cylinder surface, forming an oil film, effectively reducing frictional wear
- lower ash content than 70 alkali cylinder oil, effectively reducing abrasive wear caused by calcium carbonate deposits after combustion
Product application
For cylinder lubrication in low speed crosshead diesel engines burning fuels with a low sulphur content
Cylinder lubrication for crosshead marine diesel engines with a sulphur content of 0.5% to 2.0%
Widely used in MAN main engines
Other notes
It should be used in such a way as to prevent impurities from being mixed in, which may affect its effectiveness.
This product should not be mixed with other oils. The product should be stored in sealed containers.
It is packed in 18L and 200L iron drums to prevent the mixing of water and impurities during storage and transportation.
