Hank Marine Cylinder Oil SAE 50 is formulated with high quality mineral base oils and a selection of high performance additives. It is suitable for use in low sulphur fueled marine engines in global sulphur emission control zones from 1 January 2015.
Performance characteristics
- excellent viscosity-temperature properties to meet the requirements of new engine lubrication at higher pressures and temperatures;
- excellent anti-wear properties, reducing wear on metal parts and extending the service life of engine components;
- outstanding cleaning and dispersing properties, effectively preventing carbon build-up in piston ring grooves and cylinder liner air ports, ensuring cleanliness in the engine combustion chamber;
- Good diffusion performance, so that the oil quickly reaches the cylinder surface, forming an oil film, effectively reducing friction and wear;
Product application
Suitable for cylinder lubrication of low speed two-stroke crosshead marine diesel engines with fuel content below 0.5% sulphur, please also observe the engine OEM requirements when using.
Other notes
Impurities should be prevented from being mixed in during use to avoid affecting the use effect.
This product should not be mixed with other oils. This product should be stored in sealed containers.
It is packed in 18L and 200L iron drums to prevent the mixing of water and impurities during storage and transportation.
